A Christmas Fable

I've had a busy Christmas, between work and family visiting. But this is a little tale I strung together in coffee shops in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Enniskillen over the season of goodwill. It's rough and unfinished, and I'm going to upload it in instalments over the next few days. I hope you guys like it.
